the conventions also separate the primary election from the general election in terms of funding. the nominees now must follow general election funding rules
did you know that only half of u.s. citizens know that obama is a christian??? 16% believe him to be muslim??? the ny times has some interesting op-eds about the election...i would check them out

This election reinforced my opinions that politicians will say anything to get ahead. I don't expect them to know the answers to everything, nor do I expect them to agree with everything I think, but I do expect some common sense to be thrown into the mix. Telling me that you plan to fix the economy isn't gonna work for me. Newsflash: IT'S NOT YOUR JOB! Sorry, that's been building up for awhile. I'm sure that'll trigger a reaction from you. :-)
