There is something very satisfying about checking items off your to-do list. Even though there's no one to check up on you, or yell at you if they're not done, there's still satisfaction in getting items done. I spent most of this weekend checking items off my to-do list. I finished reading two books and started reading a third. I cleaned most of my apartment, and plan on finishing the rest of it tonight or tomorrow. I finished almost all of the homework that's due this week, started prepping for my new class, and started thinking of how to tackle next week's homework. I hung out with family, friends, and SteelersBoy, bought a present for an anniversary party, and watched fireworks. All in all, it was a very productive weekend, and I hope I can cross more items off my to-do list the rest of the week.
This Week's To-Do List:
- Finish cleaning the house.
- Finish this week's homework.
- Start next week's homework for both classes.
- Laundry.
- Pick up dry cleaning.
- Make a packing list and pack for vacation.
- Buy a birthday present for my brother.
- Borrow a bike from Malia and figure out how to transport it up to the lake.
- Hang out with friends and SteelersBoy before vacation.
- Wrap up major outstanding issues at work. Verify someone knows enough information about small outstanding issues.
- Manicure/Pedicure?
- Make sure MG doesn't need help doing some last minute vacation shopping.
- Make a last-minute run to the library.
- Fill out paperwork for a financial advisor.
- Schedule appointment with a potential financial advisor.
- A good make-out session with SteelersBoy. I won't see him for a week, so I want something a bit more memorable than normal.
