I've started going back to the gym regularly and my body is sore. My legs are super tight; I hope they recover by this evening, cause I plan on doing straight cardio. The gym was super crowded with guys Monday. I thought I was going to have to fight for machines, but fortunately for me they were all working on their upper body and I was working on my legs. I went to the gym much later yesterday and there were about 10 people there. One cute guy, who looked like he might be a soccer player, offered some advice on how to use one of the machines. I'm not looking to pick up guys at the gym, so my flirt radar (or something like that) isn't turned on. 10 minutes after he said something to me, I realized he was probably trying to pick me up. At that point it was too late to try to talk back and forth. My gym times vary greatly, so there's a pretty good chance I won't see him again. Oh well.
I bought more memory for my laptop. Yay! I went from 512 MB to 2 GB. It's a definite improvement. I need to finish moving my music to my external hard drive, do a backup of my hard drive, and take my laptop to a computer repair shop to have them figure out what's wrong with my power supply. One of the guys at work offered to help, but I feel like I'd be taking advantage of him since he already helped me with my memory stuff. I just hope that it won't cost too much money to get it fixed.
I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my radio playing. The one in my living room, which I only turn on in the morning when I'm listening to NPR. It definitely wasn't on when I went to bed, cause I wouldn't have been able to sleep. I have no idea how it got turned on. I can only speculate that the high winds jarred something that jarred something else that turned it on. It kinda freaked me out and I went through the whole apartment looking for "the bad guy." You can tell that I wasn't quite awake, cause I had no plan as to what I would do if I found "the bad guy." My cell phone was in my room, I don't have a weapon of any kind in my apartment, and I didn't even pick up a fake one. (Rolling pin, spatula, broom, etc.) It took me awhile to go back to sleep, but I'm still alive and all my stuff is here, so something else besides "the bad guy" must have turned on my radio.
