There's such a thing as manners
I love hanging out with friends. There's something about sitting around talking that is just irreplaceable. Combine that with a great atmosphere and a great wine, you've got a great evening! Mary, Chris, Megan, and I went to ThornCreek Winery this evening. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and their wines. We hung out on couches right by the fire the entire evening. I want to go back in the spring, summery, and fall to see what it's like outside. But, more than that, I want to hang out with friends.
We're watching Jerry Maguire right now. It's such a classic. I remember watching it when I was younger. The "fuck" scene is absolutely priceless. I mean, can you do better than "Don't ever stop fucking me!"? Yeah, I can't think of many "fuck" scenes that top that. Not that they showed it on TNT, but whatever. I know it was there.
It's hard keeping resolutions. It's quite true. Especially when you loved the "thing" you resolved to give up. Sober or not, I still want it. I think it's harder when I don't have a truly good reason for giving it up. That's my $.02 anyway. I'm glad my friends push me to justify my decisions, but justifying some decisions is easier than other decisions I've made.
