getting ready
so i am getting ready to head back home. moms surgery went well. she only has three incisions. two are little so they only need one stitch. the other is about 3 1/2 inches long. she has a nifty ice pack pump thing. it is a pad that covers her shoulder, dual tubes that run from the pad to a pump which is in an ice chest. the pump, duh, pumps cold water into the pad and then is returned to the water. it is like an ice pack but better. it kinda sucks though because it eats ice. we have gone through almost six bags of ice since 1130 on thursday. she is getting used to doing things with one hand. though if it is something small and light like typing she can use her right hand.
the boy is sleeping after getting medicated again.
this was after a few minutes.
so, i am planning on leaving around 0630 on tuesday which should put me home around 1330. not too bad...i guess. i am just glad that there isn't anymore driving after that! not like the last time where i was there and then came back up here. *sigh* home sweet home?
