bleh!
so, i am trying to make sure everything is ready for the trek down to abq this weekend. we'll leave on wednesday instead of tuesday. went to feed the birds today, opened the cage and salvador climbed his little birdy ass out the cage. i looked down and he was hanging off the side. then he went to the top of the cage. i took out the food bowls and went to fill them. when i filled one, he flew over from the cage and sat on the side of the dish and ate while it was carried back to the cage. nice huh?
this weekend should be interesting. he won't be around much since he got put on 12's for 21 days. well, it could have been worse, he could have gotten kicked out of the military. about a month ago, they moved him to the westside muns. he was sick one day and called sick call. he talked with the nurse and she told him about an appointment for 1300 that day. no one actually confirmed that she had put the appointment in the system and not just told him about it. well, westside got mad, sent him back and told him they couldn't trust him. he had to send an e-mail to westside because no one would answer the phone so they said he didn't get in touch with them. they said that they called all morning but his phone didn't ring once. so, a week or so after that, george came by and told him that there was an article 15 package for him. it was kinda scary because he wasn't supposed to know about it. he was supposed to go to california and was afraid that he wouldn't be able to go. we spent so much money on the tickets. anyhow, after he got back he was served with the package. then it became a waiting game. he met with the commander and then ADC. wrote his defense letter, met with the commander again and was given his punishment. 21 days additional duty starting yesterday and $400 forfeiture. not bad considering what could have happened. so, thats that.
