Well, i just wanted to make a final farewell, i froze my account probably permanently, you know i decided to take a break dfrom wow for 3 days and wipe the dust off my ps3 and persue more important things in my life.
It suddenly became crystal clear to me that at somepoint in WoW the fun just wasn't there, no it was replaced by some obsessive compulsion to improve my character and endure grueling tasks of farming the same bosses, the same instances the same quests over and over and over just to progress my character and gain better items.
This is just ridiculous, i remember back in vanilla, it wasn't like this. The emphasis of world pvp was more apparent and the game was fun because because there were always battles over towns/cities going on and the point of it was to defend your home not this crazed drive to have the best loot in the game.
You know i've been playing Oblivion again, hell its a good game. I actually feel involved, when i kill a boss i nver have to do it again on that character. Game progression actually has a sense of time in it. I understand thats different in an MMO, but damn to sum up this game is. Either you commit to 8-10+ hours of gameplay or some specific time schedule every other day, or don't bother even trying to progress your character at all. To have to run a raid dungeon over and over THAT many times just to get 1 maybe two items out of it... if that is just obscene IMO. Honestly in any game you play typically you kill some boss or complete a level.. thats it.. move on.
Oh well, enough of my banter, that and the fact the class i chose to be my main back in vanilla has so many issues i don't even want to discuss it anymore.. i'm done, see you guys.
P.S. No you can't have my stuff
