So.

I have to move out of the Kreuzerweg address next week. I found another room yesterday that I like quite a lot; hopefully it will work out. It's closer to the city center, so there won't be any garden/yard/whatever you wish to call it, but it is also only a short distance from the English Garden, so I'll be able to go there rather frequently.

Things have been rather quiet, here... until this week, it's been mostly cool and rainy. I've made a few friends, been a few places, come to work every day, and read quite a lot. To date, 9 guys and 1 girl have asked me out, which amuses me far more than it should.

The names of some of the inventions are hysterical. Now I understand very well what Pratchett is poking fun at with Leonard of Quirm and his amazingly inventive names for his inventions. I think my favorites so far are:

"Howling detection and prevention"
"Engine breaking system"

and....

"Boring tool assembly."

That one is my favorite. I mean, I know that it's for boring into things (though what it bores into, I do not know), but still... why would anyone wish to name an invention "boring tool assembly?" I laughed aloud when I saw it.

I can't write a really long entry, alas; today is a holiday, and I'm at the office waiting for Elke and her three-year-old son, Morritz, so that we can go to a procession, and then to the zoo (I don't like zoos, but eh, I like the people), and then to a birthday party, and then to the Hofgarten with Angela. I think. Unless plans change, which they might.

Anyway, the main purpose of this entry is to say "DO NOT send any mail to the Kreuzerweg address." I'll post my new address in due course, but the office address also works. (Anna, I will write you at some point within the next week--I didn't want you to think that I had forgotten.)

The weeks are too short, I think. Strange to think that I've been here for almost a month.
