Llamas.
You know it seems these days that llamas are only a joke to our society. People see them as just another funny animal that we can laugh at. Well I’m sick of it! I believe llamas deserve just as much respect as any other animal.
I think it all started back when everyone saw the movie "The Emperor’s New Groove" and we found out just what llamas were. Before that movie I doubt a lot of people even knew llamas existed. For spreading the words of the llama I thank that movie, but now all people can think of is that movie for llama examples and are all "Oh haha, llamas were so silly in that movie they must be that way in real life." Wrong. Llamas are tall, noble, beautiful animals that don’t deserve all this mockery. I always pass by a llama farm on my way to school on the bus and almost every day I'll see someone point and laugh and say "Look at the funny looking llamas!" It saddens me to hear them say such cruel and mocking things to them. Those poor llamas just sitting out there, wanting to be accepted for who they are. They just want to be loved like the everyday dog or cat. They're not asking for much! Just a little recognition as proud standing animals and not freaks.
That is the face of an animal that is tried of putting up with man kinds jokes and only wants to be treated normally. So please, think before you make fun of another llama because you may really be hurting its feelings.
