Billy Collins
Last night I got a book signed by Billy Collins, the U.S. Poet Laureate for 2001-2003. I'm pretty stoked about it because I've never done something like it before. I really enjoy his poetry, so I was excited to see him in person. I would describe him as serious with a subtle sense of humor. And yes, he was a little intimidating. But I'm very glad I went to his reading. I'm always inspired by writers like him.
