It's not like they weren't warned.

Should we feel sorry for the fly who was told stories about the spider's web? I think not.

All we can do now is wait and see.

((OOC: ...yeaaaaaah just wait until she realizes one of the trapped is england. once she does... it won't be pretty. EDIT: All threads after the first one will be treated as earlier. You get ( Read more... )

[Hey...it's Englands daughter]

They thought they were doing something helpful.

We may worry about the people traped there. There is nothing wrong with feeling sorry for them.

[oh boy.]

Oh please. They were all deluded into thinking they'd find their loved ones, when it was obvious that not only was it a trap, but even if they found those people, they'd be drones. It was all useless.

It might have been but they held on to the hope that they would find something there. Curiosity is a natural instinct after all.

And even if they were acting stupid it doesn't mean that we shouldn't worry about them.

Natural instinct? Sounds like a pitiful excuse.

You can worry your little head all you want, even if it'll do you no good. I'm merely saying what I think of this sad mess.

[Wow...]

You're right. I can worry about Sealand and England being trapped over there all I want. I'm sure they will be fine but I care about them and when someone you care about is in danger then it's only natural to worry about them.

[There is a pause as her annoyence is pushed away.]

Yes.

Did you know him?

[The voice gets a bit more... erratic.]

He's not still there, is he? He... he must have come back!

[yeah she might be going into a bit of delusion before going... bonkers.]

He would have listened to me! He wouldn't have gone!

No he hasn't..

England is the most stubborn person I have ever met. If he wanted to go there is no one that could have stopped him.

He had no reason to go! He has everyone he wants here, including that damn America!

Maybe he saw some of his people there. As a nation he might have felt it his duty to try to help them.

Or some of the other nations. I know there are many that aren't here.

He had a duty here!

He promised to protect me! He promised me!

[And have a violent slamming down on the phone. She won't answer... and tomorrow is going to be a dark day.]
