What sort of fairy tales do you have back in your original worlds?

The usual kind~ The mermaid turns to seafoam, the princess dies, and the children cook and eat the witch.

You enjoy unhappy endings?

I don't feel one way or another, they just end that way.

Not all of them do.

Most end horribly for someone. Hansel and Gretel lived but the witch wasn't very happy being cooked.

She was wicked, though.

Children tried to eat her house, why wouldn't she be mad?

Wicked is just a justification for doing away with something that troubles you.

A different one. Maybe the witch just wanted to be alone. No one asked her.

Witches are supposedly inherently evil.

[dreams_are_mine]

Why? Because they're powerful. Humans hate being inferior to anything.

[raven_daughter]

I can't speak for all of them, but I could agree on that.

Most of them.

So maybe the old witch was evil to begin with. Or maybe she was just afraid. Or maybe she was bitter from isolation and mad from loneliness because humans couldn't accept her.

Whatever it was, who knows?
