A 10 year old girl was being unruly and would not take a shower as her mother wanted. Said mother, being no doubt a piss poor excuse for a human being called the police, I assume because like any piss poor excuse for a human being she would rather let other people do her duty as a parent. The police arrived and the girl continued to be unruly and when the police tried to restrain the TEN YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL the pig. And by that I mean the police officer, not because of the connotation of police as pigs but because only a pig would do such a thing, Tazred the girl, a ten year old girl. Now, unless the police was a dwarf, or a cripple I cant imagine why he could not have dealt with the girl in a manner not resembling a Nazi concentration camp (cattle prods were used to keep concentration camp prisoners in line, including children). The police officer was suspended. but get this, not for coursing electricity through the body of a ten year old girl but for not doing it while on video, which is apparently police procedure.
Even if the girl was really being unruly and out of control is it EVER acceptable to do this to a child? For the people who say yes, well you don't deserve children to begin with especially when a ten year old girl acts out only so much as her parents allow.
I think it is about time that people started to pay attention and start making the police suffer for the wrongs they are doing and making them pay with something more substantial with brief suspension. If this cop could electrocute (and yes, a tazer is electrocution) for being unruly, just imagine what other might do on a school playground where say two little kids get into a tussle, or at a shopping mall or in your neighborhood. Why do I blame the police more than the mother. Thats easy, they are the ones who have guns and who should, by virtue of their obscene amount of civic power hold themselves to a higher standard.
The tazer was invented to be a non lethal device for restraining dangerous people not a toy for the amusement of police who seem to have a greater fondness for their power trips than they do for their fellow human beings.
Put it together people. The tazer has only allowed police to abuse people in a way that does not draw as much attention due to its being non lethal. But lets get real. It is electricity, natures most primal force and Americas favored method of snuffing out life. Does it ever need to be used on a child? All I can say is if it were my child, that police officer would have far greater trouble than a few days of suspension.
