oh wow. what did i tell you? i am completely forgotten here.
dad goes away to colorado WITH BLAIR for boyscouts. ok? favoritism. he would never go anywhere with me, on a band trip or something.
he gets back this tuesday. as you well know because i said he was back. ok. he goes to work on wednesday and today like usual.
tonight, he eats a whole bag of those doritos rollitos things (i'm getting to the point, just be patient). and that bag had been bought for blair. he goes out to the kitchen to get the other bag of the regular dorito/rollitos.
i go out there and tell him NOT to eat it because its mine. for the lock in tomorrow night.
you know what he says?
"lock in? what lock in? OH!! the parents night for band" asshole.
and you know whats fuckin hillarious about that? one of the Denny's had called to ask mom if i had a permission slip to stay at the lockin tomorrow night. dad was sitting his fat ass in his fucking recliner when mom told me what they had called about. he completely ignored the fact that we were TALKING ABOUT THE GODDAMN PARENTS NIGHT.
last year he missed the drilldown and i'll be damned if he doesnt miss it again.
