hey i'm booking a seminar thing at the bbfc basically just watching and asking questions about film censorship the 20th nov. anyone else interested in going? its £ 5. from 11 to 1 oclock , central london
in the end i landed on writing about porn and analyzing change in the genre. Probably comparing movies like "knullegutt"(from the book fatso, directly translated -fuckboy i guess) , Pirates (most expensive porn movie made yet,), probably "la blue girl" and i don't know if i should just pick a mainstream porn or go back in history to something like A l'Ecu d'Or' but we'll see. this is all before research. i guess it would be interesting to discuss early porn which was really quite hardcore to todays porn where i can actually say"mainstream porn".
however i'm particularly interested in why knullegutt is not porn(?), while manga porn is. but i'll probably come up with something more interesting as i start my research properly. I'm quite excited about it. i've never really bothered with porn, and i guess it can be quite fascinating and healthy for me to not view it from a gender theory point, but focusing on the genre instead.
