Now you know why I don't walk for exercise, why I prefer to drive rather than take transit, and why I have no interest in being "fashionably thin and beautiful". Fuck that shit. I'd rather die young than be a thing.

Being fat is the only accepted cause for discrimination now-a-days. Ignore that we are -all- living longer. Ignore that people have to die of -something- eventually. Ignore that being overweight is a benefit in times of famine.
Also ignore that an older person is healthier being -just- overweight because muscles stay toned [hauling body around]. The overweight - especially women - suffer less from brittle bone disorders [which has a one of the risk factors being underweight].
Just get your panties in a wad O World [okay - just 'oh US'] about people being fat. It makes the thin feel better about themselves. It gives the health industry a frontier to harass [especially when they redefine what the 'average' weight is in a downward direction ... as they do the same with what counts as an 'average' bloodpressure.]

Also the males who are socialized to think "thin is pretty" also tend not to prey as much on the heavier girls, either.
So yes, I don't do "diets" for the sake of my health. But I don't do public exercise for the sake of my peace of mind.
