Well, my car broke down on the freeway on the way home from work. I'm going to call people/mechanics tomorrow.

Oh, and I'm gonna start training to be a manager at work. Who'd've thunk?

The car thing stinks, but the manager thing is probably good (though I can only assume it will have its fair share of annoyances, too). Will you get a raise, or other benefits?

At least a raise... but I have to go through manager training first, and I've heard that takes a long time. Like, months or years.
