Winter Workshop Update
Duke Paul of Bellatrix, the creator of the flat snap and one of the legends of SCA fighting will be up and teaching an An Tirian focused workshop. He will be focusing on incorporating curved sword returns into the An Tirian style, single hip return techniques, stance, avoiding telegraphing and tells, fundamental snap techniques, slide stepping, techniques that would improve power and timing from a hand forward on guard position, change direction techniques and armored critique.
Where: Kennydale Elementary School, 1700 NE 28th St, Renton, WA 98056 -- Take I-5 to I-405, take exit 6 off I-405, the school is on the eastside of the freeway right off the I-405 in Renton and is impossible to miss. Come in the front entrance and we will be fighting in the Gym and perhaps outside as well if the weather is nice.
When: Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 10 am to 3 pm Cost: $15.00 -- no preregistration necessary -- bring your money to class, cash is always appreciated, but checks made out to the Shire of Wyewood work too.
Bring your armor and notetaking materials. Water, sports drinks and snacks will be provided. PLEASE NO BLACK SOFT SOLED SHOES!!!
