When I was a kid, I waited for the bus in the cold, and I dealt. There might even be some shadow tag involved, or sometimes a game we liked to call "see how long you can slide around on the ice before you fall" (I always kicked ass at this game while Julie wouldn't play because she would fall at the mere sight of ice). We never got school canceled just because it was a little chilly out. Shepherd Hill was canceled for tomorrow hours ago because of a couple degrees below zero temps. LAME. Invest in a scarf, kids.
Tomorrow is my last day of work. Woo woo!
Maybe they'll shut down the pike because it's COLD OUT. At least the temperature will make people less inclined to stop to eat. You don't even know how many people came in today and told me it was cold out. For real? It's cold out? Man...missed that weather report.
I can't wait to NOT work at the pike this summer. That will rule.
