Basically, wow to the double betrayal in this. Or triple betrayal if you count Kahlan finding out a secret about Cara before heading into the catacombs. They've betrayed each other, and it's simply delicious. I'm very eager for the next installment.

On a side note: I'd hate it for any man unrelated to the Borgia in that city who decides he wants to wear a white feather in his hat. LOL!!

Oh, and this line: "Poor Valentino was completely forgotten." Made me laugh, which I'm thinking it was supposed to.

One more thing: Maybe what Kahlan found out about Cara before entering the catacombs is that Cara is a Borgia, but she only spoke it aloud at the end?
