For my part even when there was no Kahlan and Cara interaction yet, I liked the chapter very much. I adored how Kahlan managed the situation - and it scares me to admit, but I kind of like Rahl haha

I guess I kinda overdid it with the anticipation, but I'm working on resolving some of the tension, or at least bring our favorite ladies together :P
it's the least I can do after all those faithful readers stuck with me for 12 chapters.

I know :P but Cara can't always save the damsel in distress. well, Kahlan is not really in distress (not yet) but they'll eventually do stuff together... I hope xD I mean they should 'cause the story is about them. I'm working on it!

Cool chapter. I wasn't expecting Richard to be the one to stop Kahlan from blowing her cover by kicking Sven's ass rescue Kahlan. You, tease! Ah ah!
Everything is starting to fall into place, Dewitt is just the missing link we needed to get the girls closer. I can't wait to read what you planned next.
