>_<
I love when I spend an hour typing something out and one mysterious misuse of the backspace key sends my browser flying back through previous pages, deleting all that I've just typed.
*sigh*
...
Thankfully, most of it was cut and pasted... most of it. ARG.
In summary, I was explaining why Kyanite should be my birthstone... There WILL be a bit of repetition here, I think. I used two different sources that seemed right to me after sifting through probably twenty. I noticed a theme... which is expressed well below.
"Kyanite is believed to encourage loyalty, honesty, tranquility, while fighting anger and confusion. It is considered to be powerful energetically and metaphysically--for protective use during channeling, altered states, vivid dreams and visualizations.
Kyanite is a powerful gemstone that helps to align all Chakras. One of the greatest qualities of Kyanite is that it does not absorb negative energies during any healing processes.
Kyanite is considered a good gemstone to help intepret and understand your dreams. It is suggested that you keep a kyanite stone under your pillow.
To attain a calm state after a rough day, Kyanite is the perfect stone to use to become relaxed and to clear your chakras of negative energies."
"Kyanite is a striated, blue or green crystal, which is also known as Disthene. It is a high vibration stone and is said to help raise levels of consciousness and to quickly bring stillness and tranquility. For these reason it is an excellent stone to use for meditation.
Kyanite is thought to reduce confusion and to stimulate the higher mind, increasing the capacity for logical and linear thought. In addition Kyanite is believed to stimulate psychic abilities and intuition.
Kyanite can be used to open the Throat Chakra encouraging self-expression, communication and speaking the truth. Blue Kyanite, in particular, is believed to strengthen the voice and to help heal the throat and the larynx. It is therefore a useful stone for performers and public speakers. Kyanite is said to be a natural pain reliever and to be effective in helping to reduce blood pressure.
Kyanite does not hold negativity so never requires cleaning"
On that note, I'll be attaching my Kyanite ring to a necklace and wearing it for a while as an experiment, I suppose. I do love gemstones... especially when they feel right to me. Kyanite is probably my favorite one which really says a lot, giving how much I really love certain gemstones. Lavender Jade is another one of my favorites. Hmmm... I'll put my Lavender Jade ring on the same necklace! MMMmmmm yummy.
Finally, I wanted to include this:
The Importance of Gemstone Jewelry in our High Tech World:
Today's high-tech world makes it necessary for one to wear gemstone jewelry. We live in a world with a chaotic energy field, created by electronics around us. Modern conveniences such as cell phones, computers and microwaves emit radiation and electromagnetic waves that negatively interfere with our bodies' magnetic fields. Fortunately, nature has given us the gift of gemstones, whose organic energies help us return to our natural healthy state. However, gemstones need to be worn in order for us to gain the full benefits of its energies, as its energies are extended to approximately 1 foot. Gemstone jewelry is the most convenient way to maintain bodies magnetic field, without invasive medical procedures. It is the most stylish, easiest way to maintain your health, restoring bodily, mental, spiritual health to its perfect natural state."
