I just wanted to let AAaaall of my numerous LJ fans out there know that I've decided to "make this journal active again."

I AM HAPPY!
I am 34 days sober and counting.
Debts are dwindling, slowly.
New job around the corner.
Love love love.
Lately, I've been getting comments from friends like, "You're glowing, you look beautiful."
...and comments from family... such as, "I'm happy if you're happy!" and "I haven't seen you this happy in a long time."
To the first one, I can't remember what I responded with. Probably just a grin and rosy cheeks.
To the second one, I expressed simple gratitude...
To the third one, I replied, "Me neither." Then muttered something like, "Since I was like five."
Man. What kind of trip was I on, anyway? Oh, yeah... now I "remember." Get it? Heh. Seriously, though, you can't be happy until you're ready to be happy and that is entirely internal.
Fear sucks and does no one any good. Remember that, kids.
