I can see K. M. Adimoolam as some sort of an annoying artistic hardcore band who pick extremely bizarre and meaningless names for their song titles for the sake of pretentiousness. As a nod towards the lead singer Leif Armstrong's Scandinavian heritage they also have an ironic cover of "Nu tändas tusen juleljus" on the album. Even though the band categorizes their music as a blend of genres such as "artcore", "dadapunk" and "cartesian speed metal", none of them have an art degree or the slightest clue as to what "cartesian" means.
The album is, of course, embraced for a while by indie kids who wish to look cool by listening to a band as obscure and edgy as K. M. Adimoolam, but once they realize that everyone else is also listening to the band they suddenly come to the conclusion that the band sucks and that they were much better on their first EP "Willem II College" of which only 100 copies were made back in the day.
In other news, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has completely destroyed what little meaning there was to my life. After watching it I realized that I could never achieve anything so awesome and I might as well stop trying. Okay, not really, but suffice to say it is an awesome show.
