And speaking of the Olympics: Have you noticed all the glitches and strange problems they are having? Not just the extremely sad death on the Luge, but just the strange way things are going?
Tonight on the NBC news they had a story about how people want their picture taken beside the Olympic Torch (known as the Cauldron), but there is a giant metal fence around it!

From the Hidden Cauldron to the Wicked Weather: Flame Out in Vancouver My favorite story was the inability to smooth down the ice for the speed skaters the other day. Hello . . . Zamboni? I mean, we don't even have ice rinks much here in the Southeast (although Nashville has a hockey team), but I know when they need to call in a Zamboni! Their state-of-the-art electric machines turned the ice into an Olympic-sized slushie. This and other problems are detailed in an excellent report by an Canadian engineer:
