A few days' time
Right, so I've been bad and non-update-y. Bad me. But I've actually been doing things, so that's alright. For instance, yesterday attractorbasin and I went over to babskewl33's place to hang out and play Quiddler and make cookies (I helped!). That was after babskewl33 and I did a little errand-running, with stops at Granny's (I sold attractorbasin's comic books, incorrectly it seems, but what do I know about comic books? And I found Christmas presents for my mom), Hy-Vee (there was a Health Market sale! So I got some badass pasta and other stuff), and Burger King (so suitable after shopping for health food..)! The day before that, I started working on Tricia's painting...just sketching in the layout on canvas, and I'm going to have to do some revisions on that, too.
Today, while I was sleeping, attractorbasin went running around town without me, but that's okay..he needs to do something while I'm asleep! He bought 7 more packs of miniatures, and he got me three Asian-food cookbooks! Yaaaaay! He's so awesome. *gets all warm and fuzzy inside* He got me one with 1000 Chinese-food recipies, one of Japanese homestyle dishes, and one of 'beginning' Thai and Vietnamese food! *does a little happy dance* I love asian cooking! And since we live pretty close to the Uni-Oriental Mart now, I can just jet down there to get whatever ingredients I need (especially rice. Need rice. Waterfront Hy-Vee doesn't have the Kukohu Rose rice that we like. Stupid Waterfront Hy-Vee).
Tomorrow I'll probably be buying Luis's old wireless router from him. It's not actually all that old, it's just the one he had before he got his new shiny one. He's selling it to us for $20, so I'm not complaining. Luis, being a computer nut (in the nuttiest sense possible), is my ultimate source for high-quality computer equipment. He's a great guy. I bribed him with dinner to bring over the router and install it tomorrow (on the off-chance that it tries to give us problems). I bribe lots of people with dinner. :P I can bribe people with mashed potatoes and devilled eggs! But that's about it. If I ever get a bread-maker, I can bribe people with bread! But that's in the future. Where was I? Oh, right, wireless router. So hopefully by tomorrow, we'll both be able to be online at the same time, if we so desire! Both on our respective forums, dispensing wisdom and creativity (in his case) and insanity and banality (in my case)! I get the cool -ity's.
Anyway. That's my basic update. The lock on the bathroom door works like a charm. Woot! And hopefully the sonic bat-thingie works, too. *crosses fingers*
