They've finally announced the release date of Mirrormask!!
I've only been frothing at the mouth over this movie for the past half-year or so. o.O
So...to all my friends...what say you to an official Opening-Night viewing? September 30th, 2005!!
I spent a little time perusing the now-updated official Mirrormask site (the link above takes you there), flipping through the screenshots. Ohhhhhhh wow. This movie looks creepy yet beautiful in all the right Dave McKean ways. Every shot they have in the gallery looks like it's populated with McKean's creations from the Sandman covers. Absolutely breathtaking! I'm so doggone excited!!
Luckily, this won't be interfering with my plans to go see Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride, since that comes out a week earlier. (September 23rd, for all those who aren't quite awake yet ^_^)
