Well, my ring wasn't on their website. Does this mean they aren't making it anymore? Or just that it's old and therefore only on order if you know its item number? I may never know. I emailed them and asked if they could at least let me know if the ring still exists. I haven't heard back yet, but it's only been a day, and it's Saturday to boot. I don't know many places that consider Saturday a work day, if they have any choice in the matter. (How nice it would be to be self-employed!)
We may have to get new rings. I don't want new rings. I want THIS ring! I just want it to fit. *sigh* Oh well. If getting it sized is going to be the same price as buying a new one, I don't think it'll be much of a problem if we just get it resized.
Was Iowa the only central-midwestern state that didn't get buried under snow? I was flipping past the Weather Channel last night and saw that parts of Missouri were hit with 12-18" of snow, most of Illinois had 6-12" of snow, and Minnesota had 4-8". I feel as though someone has laid an invisible bubble over Iowa as a result of April's tornadoes. "Well, we don't want no more weather in this state thank you very much!" All we've had since April are a few minor storms and drippy, misty rain that lasts for days. No big storms. Weird. Everyone was talking about "the storm of the century" headed our way, and then we get nothing. That leaves me off-balance. I'm just waiting for some major freak snowstorm to just blow out of nowhere and hit ONLY Iowa.
Leftover pieces of fleece (of the sort used for making fleece tie-blankets) make EXCELLENT scarves!! :D
