Preservation of a Species

I've lost interest in these online writing sites.  It's bedazzling in a way to watch people hash out their lives, but the fact is their personalities are like fossilized sap, preserving themselves just as they are, completely protected from time and change.  They're all Encino men.  It's not hard to change, is it?  Why is it then, since I think more people would say yes?  Who knows.

The point of life should be to constantly question.  If you can't actually just admit that you're wrong about even the things you feel right about, I mean after all, what's the true loss of admitting you're wrong, then you've only replaced one blind faith for another.  God is no longer the Maker, God is your own pride.  I always take people's opinions to heart when they give them to me freely.  If they're just reacting to something I've said, it's hard for me to accept that they aren't just retaliating, they most likely are.  "No you are" sort of thing...hehehe.

Anyway, I think this whole thing is going to rest.  I need to spend time with my colleagues and the blooming minds of generations to come.  They're always good at nurturing my soul back to health...it's amazing what starting off with a little bit of respect for one another can do.  And if I failed to do that to whoever out there I've assaulted, well, then let's hope I get it right this time around. I'm pretty sure that all I may have failed to do was let you clearly know enough that I was willing to listen to your rebuttal with open mind as long as you didn't screw it up with trivial name-calling.

Ok.  Done.  Class and on.
