YAY! I now have two weeks of cramming four seasons of 24 into my brain. I can't, for the life of me, remember why I decided not to watch that show! It's amazing. The only thing I can think of was this imaginary rivalry between 24 and ALIAS and I chose ALIAS. Hey, I was in 7th grade when both premiered! I'm still on the first season, but I'm quickly downloading the second. It should be done sometime later this week. I'm falling more and more in love with Jack every week. I have IM's where I'm just repeating what a sexy, sexy renegade Jack Bauer is. Oh baby.
Narnia. What a fantastic movie. I had previously read the books, and I was hesitant to see the movie. This wasn't as high profile as the Harry Potter movie (how could it?) so I was worried this would be some low budget crappy flick. So, I was wrong. This was the most enchanting movie I've seen all year. And the special effects! Oh My God. The movie was relying heavily on CGI, and it worked brilliantly. I was in awe of the realistic appearance of these characters. The acting was great too. I had previously in the day saw GoF again, and the acting there is less than...great. So I went into Narnia with less than high hopes. Let me just say these kids are amazing. They can act. Why they weren't up for roles in the Harry Potter movies, I don't know. Now, I recommend everyone take their family and friends to see this movie. Yes there are talking animals, but it works. I'm trying to get my family to see it, because I know they'd love it. But instead they are making fun of me for liking the movie. Psht. It isn't a baby movie, if that's what you imaginary critics are thinking. This is one of the few family films that everyone can enjoy and love. Think Finding Nemo and how everyone loves that. Everyone except my mother who still says its a baby movie. I really need to work on her...
