Did you know that the final episodes of Pushing Daisies already aired elsewhere in the world? Well I didn't. I'm going to blame my ignorance on ABC, who shelved the final three episodes until the summer, and worse, on a Saturday. I didn't even know the show was coming back until I saw a picture of Lee Pace in the corner of the TV Listings in the local newspaper. I'm not going to lie, I'm angry. I pride myself on being super TV nerd, and this is a major failure for me. Granted I've been a bit busy and haven't really checked my friends list all that much (in addition to nursing
a major Twitter addiction).
But enough of me griping over this, the real purpose of this post is to inform you that Pushing Daisies is going to air on ABC this Saturday. Shame I had to find out via newspaper; I am so disappointed the show never caught on. Fucking WGA strike, fucking ABC and their Godawful promotional department, fucking viewers who never gave the show a chance/stopped watching. Well I know what I'm going to do tomorrow: put away laundry and watch the final 3 episodes of Pushing Daisies... ever.
And while I love
Anna Friel as Chuck, there is not enough money in the world to get me to see
Land of the Lost.
