I love Mad Men. I think it's a brilliant show and period piece. Who doesn't love retro sexism racism and smoking? I know I do. It seems that every single critic in the works is head over heels in love with the show. I'm going to say it's a little scary how united they are. I mean rocking the TCA's and racking up 16 Emmy nods? The show, currently 13 episodes total, us being hailed the greatest show ever by many. Cue me to go "really?" I mean it's wonderful, but can you really judge it against all the other shows in the history of television based on one season (it's half a season compared to network shows)?I can't even say which my all time favorite show is. It constantly changes based on the current season and other offerings. I can't definitively what the greatest show ever is. No time when I breezed through thirteen episodes did I think "Best Show in all of Television". It was great, I just didn't have a religious experience while watching. So question to you: if you watch the show (which you all really should, it's wonderful) do you agree with me or am I completely off base?
In real life news: I'm having my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Ick. I wish I were at Comic Con. It's not even funny how jealous I am reading updates and posts from the panels. Hey Comic Con attendees, wanna switch places?
