Pinch me, I must be dreaming.
Oh how true that is. So I'm still sick, but during the BtVS convention, all my symptoms disappeared.Once I finally got up out of bed, around 9, I straightened my hair, then I brushed my teeth, put in contacts, and got dressed, with my new leather coat. :-) So I met anythingbutgrey and we talked about everything. Then when we got there, I was all excited. Once we got in line and sorted everything out, we went into the gift area. I bought a picture of David Boreanaz and one of Nicholas Brendon. We went in and got our seats, just in time to see the trivia contest. Nothing too exciting, a bunch of people who knew stuff. I knew what type of demon Doyle was, which stumped Dani. I felt very proud. He happens to be a Brakkan demon. I was more or less right. I would have said Brakkash.
After that we had lots of Hollywood previews. Some of the movies were cool, others were stupid. I learned I wanted to see Spider man 2, and some new movies. I think this was just filler time or something. Next the guy selected people to play roles in reenactments of scenes. I didn't want to raise my hand to be Buffy, but when he asked for a Willow, Dani's and my hands shot up. The guy ended up pointing to one of us, and I decided to let Dani do it. She is more addicted. So she got to do the seductive scene with Xander from B, B, & B. Next was a video thing, and I left. I went with Dani's mom to buy film. Dani was busy rehearsing. Nothing to riveting happened. I was felling a little alone, until I realized I could buy stuff. I had over $100. I went in and saw the Doppelgangland Willow doll. I'd seen it online and I knew this was something I had to have. That was an awesome episode. I've seen it like 5 times in the past week and a half. I hesitated, seeing if they had the doll where she was vamped out, and they didn't, so I bought the normal one. I also bought a magnet of Spike vamped out, and a post card of Spike normal. God I love Spike.
When I got back in, I reunited with Dani, and we got to our seats just as Iyari Limon (Kennedy) got on stage. She started talking, and she seemed really awesome. She was funny, and down to earth. She talked about how she loved to do her own stunts, and how nice the cast was. And how funny Nick was. I'll get to him later. I started to really like her. Dani suddenly felt guilty about how she hated Kennedy. I'm maintaining my attitude. Don't hate people for their parts, and don't hate them from rumors. This Q&A session, made me really like her.
After she was done, they had this idea session for the BtVS movie, if it happens. I stayed around, nothing too interesting. This one guy basically wrote a paper on it. I left during his speech. I think I got some water. I returned just in time to see the winner announced. Then came when Dani got to perform her scene. To me, everyone butchered their scenes, and made me appreciate the cast much more. Not to say you didn't do well, Dani. Then Dani forced me to stay during some Music videos. I thought they were OK. Then we had Reptile Boy. Turns out he does voice overs and stuff. Nothing too interesting. I could really care less. I felt bad for the guy though. Nobody seemed to really take interest. Dani and I left again, but I don't remember where. Maybe we went looking around or something. I do know at some point I got her this key chain (you know what). Then we caught the end of Snake Boy's shtick, and quickly got back to our seats. Nicky was coming up.
They had this music video that just wouldn't end. I wanted to see Nick so badly. I was swooning. Then I saw him enter, because a light appeared, the door opening of course, and Dani and I freaked. Then when the video ended, there was a brief introduction, then Nick. God! Is he hot. He is so gorgeous. He had this blue polo shirt on with a white long sleeved shirt under it. He was wearing these plastic glasses that were so awesome. Dani and I were in awe. He is so much hotter in person. :sigh: He is a really funny guy, just like Iyari said. He was cracking so many jokes. I was laughing so hard. I was in a state of extasy. I was smiling and laughing, and taking tons of pictured. My God! I took a lot of him, I just hope some look good. I had to use a disposable camera. I didn't know we could take pictures. I could always get doubles of Dani's. Some of his most memorable stories were that he is internet illiterate. Poor guy. Internet's my life. He seems to manage. His wife (yeah I know...married) is the computer savvy one. He also talked about how he did Celeste in the City. He was offered the straight part, but opted to do the gay one. Why not? He said that after shooting, he was acting gay for two weeks. He also talked about how he was mortified to do the Speedo scene in Go Fish. Personally, he looked fine. mmmmm...He also joked about how Joss like to torture Xander. Loosing an eye, thought of killing off Xander. Nick joked that if there was a movie, Xander would lose his other eye. Nick also said how he has his eye patch in a drawer, signed by the entire cast. He also said how it was hard to see, and how he kept running into furnature. He said that the Dawn sotryline seemed crazy to him, and he thought it might've jumped the shark. He joked? implied? that he had a relationship with someone he had to say "I love you" to. Said it was awkward. He did the Snoopy Dance, and talked about how he watched the video tape and was in his trailer. The greatest part was when he was asked who was hotter Spike or Angel. Nick said he liked Spangel. Dani and I flipped out. I love Spangel and Dani just loves when actors mention ships they like. Also when Nick was asked who his favorite relationship was he said it was with Larry. Nick rocks my socks. He is funny, witty, and sweet. All men should be like him. ALL MEN!
