Is it weird that I was sad to see the WB end tonight. I mean, they fucking suck when it comes to committing to shows and...well they fucking suck. But I give them mad props for reairing several pilots tonight. I watched them all. I saw Felicity, Angel, Buffy, and Dawson's Creek. Out of all of them, I hadn't see Felicity or DC, but I loved the Felicity pilot. I was in awe of how well written and well acted it was. It wasn't bubbly but it wasn't a total downer. I don't know, but it was fantastic. DC was alright, it was so weird seeing Katie Holmes look so young and Scientology. Oh and Dawson, you don't even look 18. Come on, if you're going to do a 15 year old character, find a 15 year old actor? Woah I was looking up actor ages and Katie Holmes was 20 when DC started...Wow she did look 15, though it could have been the painfully juvenile wardrobe... I watched Buffy and Angel for the first time in a long time. I might have to follow
anythingbutgrey's lead and go on a Joss kick, because seriously, he pwned life. I never watched Buffy on the WB, actually I never watched Buffy when it aired. That's sad, but I noted that I was finally watching Buffy it's original network, and it was kinda nice.
So farewell WB, I guess. I'm really saying farewell to the bastards who canceled Angel and kept 7th Heaven on for waaay to many seasons? I guess the WB really did have shows that defined a generation (as they promoted in their farewell ads all night) they just couldn't sustain them. So CW, let's see what you got, don't fuck things up k?
