lord have mercy on my soul.....

Im so bored right now. Work was funny. The part where my friend yelled at a customer and basicly snapped and started yelling "you are all fucking crazy, waiting in this fucking bakery for a half hour for some fucking cupcakes" made it worth riding the trains at 8 in the morning on a cold Sunday for over an hour and 20 minutes well worth the trip.

So, how bored am I? Im going to write about music. In the spirit of the Grammys of course.

Best bands around today (friends bands included)

The Ponys
The Black Lips
Tyrades
Mistreaters
the hunches
The Cuts (even tho their live show is a total sham)
Catholic Boys

Note, there is not a New York band on there. Sad. Rogers Sisters are pretty good tho. Little Killers are okay. The Break Up is getting up my list, even tho.

My friend introduced me to his girlfriend the other day, and I guess she has seen me walking around, and she said "you look like you are always singing to yourself".
its true! Thats because Im cd player-less.
Joy poured water over it to spite me. I know.
So here are songs I like to sing when......

getting out of the shower or waking up

"Whats a little Reign" by The Fucking Champs
Most of the songs off the Probot album
"one" Metallica
"Come sail away" Styx

Im walking around my apartment for no good reason at 5am, except the fact that I cant ever sleep and I have too much energy

"Linoleum" NOFX
"White tie you die" Le Shok

Songs I love to sing when I am trashed. Not good trashed, like ugly, bad, nasty drunk
Improvised Pouges songs
"another girl, another planet" - Only ones
(Note, when I am bad drunk, I cant really get lyrics out right. Pogues songs are basicly me mocking Shane McGowan, and I usually only remember the first likes to "Another girl.....)

okay, now the people I think are the best songwriters

Lou Reed
Glen Danzig
Jeff Lee Pierce (Gun Club)
Peter Ham (Badfinger)
Tom Veraline (Television)
Tom Waits

Etc. Etc.

Im glad I have been able to bring some light into everybodies lives.
