This is a campaign wiiteup for a game I may or may not run. I'm posting it here so I don't lose it.

Lost At Sea-
An Exalted Modern campaign.
Primary inspiration: Dark City.
Other sources of inspiration: Mage The Ascention (Duh), The Matrix (The sequals never happened.), and The Thirteenth Floor (especially the bit where they drive to the edge of the earth). Any random selection of Philip K. Dick books is a good choice, too. On the lighter side, Big Trouble in Little China is a great example of how Witches work, and how play would usually go- especially since the Witches aren't nearly as active in their keeping people down as the Agents, the Technocracy or the Strangers.

Required Reading: The Exalted core book and the Exalted Player's Guide are required reading for playing. To understand what the hell I'm going on about, Exalted: The Outcaste is required, too- specifically the Forest Witches chapter.

Starting Point: The campaign is set in and around Los Angeles. Important locations include Chinatown, the PC's appartments and jobs, the ever-popular Really Big Scary Office Building, The Abandoned Warehouse, The Old Abandoned House, liquor stores, police stations, movie studios, whatever. Also important is a place where the PCs commonly meet. Maybe you all go to the same church, or all work at the same McDonald's, or you're all on the same bowling team.

What The Hell Is Going On: Now is the Third Age of man, the Age of the Sea. The Forest Witches succeeded in drowning all of the world in the Sea of Mind. In it, they are now living gods... but the shape of the world they see now is foriegn to many of them.

Will finish later.
