Congrats! You might be the only one who didn't already know you were a bad ass. I love that feeling when you take the first practice test and do much better than expected. And it's okay to let it go to your head a little bit, but be careful (I took a practice LSAT once and did better than my friend who had been studying for weeks, it made me think "maybe I'll go to law school" which would have been a terrible idea).

Rule of thumb for applications (coming from my intense high school academic counselor): apply to 2 schools that you know you'll definitely get into but you'd still get good experiences at; 3 schools that you're pretty sure you can get into; and 2-3 "reach schools" that you'd love to go to, but who knows if you could get in. I went overboard and applied to 14 schools, but hey, I like options.

And I doubt a concert pianist has had time to become fluent in Spanish or travel the world. You have a lot going for you so don't forget it. Plus, I think it's a lot more important what you're going to do after you get the med school degree, not what you've done beforehand. You're gonna be great!
