Back up entries? There's like 6 years worth in this thing...
how does one do that? Guess I should go invest in a large stack of CDs huh?

Unless you've written a full-length novel per day, you won't need more than a tiny fraction of a single CD. Go snag LJ Archive and it will cheerfully slurp your entire journal, with comments, into a single file.

On my journal, that comes out to about 1% of a CD, and I think yours will end up being about the same size. :)

That file can be emailed to yourself on GMail, or burned on a CD, or emailed to any friend you trust to keep it safe (remember that any private or protected entries you have will be stored in it, however.)
