Eugster's Farm

Eugster's Farm Market And Petting Farm is located just 15 minutes south of Madison, Wisconsin. Eugsters Fall Festival has something for everyone. The brave and adventurous will enjoy Eugsters Haunted House, or Eugsters A-maze-ing Corn Maze. Everyone will enjoy visiting the farm animals, the wagonride, great food and the many more activities to see and do.

Treinen Farms in Lodi, WI. They had slides, horse ride out to the pumpkin patch, animals, bounce house, corn maze, and fun fall food.

Schuster's Farm;

Green Thumb Farm on Highway 12 in Sauk City. It is on the left as you head toward Baraboo. They have the standard corn maze, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, and petting zoo plus lots of cool extras including a haunted house (which I haven't tried with my young uns), a giant slide, haybales for climbing, and a pumpkin eating dragon. We do several farm trips every fall, but Green Thumb is our favorite!

Lakeview Park Splash Pad, Middleton
Located in Middleton, Lakeview Park offers a pond, picnic area, shelter, and of course - a playground and splash pad. The splash pad has a variety of water features for kids to splash and play on a hot summer day. There is also a large dry playground adjacent to the splash pad with plenty of slides, swings and fun.

Cypress Splash Park is open daily 11 am - 7 pm. Located on Madison’s south side, on the corner of Cypress Way and Magnolia Lane, the spray park is FREE and features both a wet and a dry play area. The wet play area will have misting and low spray water features for toddlers and pre-schoolers and rain shower and cascading water features for adolescents. The wet play area is fenced and unlocked daily in the summer months by a park attendant. The season for the wet spray area corresponds with Goodman Pool’s open season which is first day of Madison Metropolitan School Districts summer break to Labor Day. The dry play area features traditional play structures and swings. This dry play area is open to the public year round.

Monona Pool, Monona
If you are looking for a place to cool off on the Eastside, head to the Monona Public Pool. This community pool features a waterslide, two diving boards, eight lap lanes, a shallow end and a baby pool (which is separate and gated to keep the little ones safe)! If you are a resident of Monona it will only cost you $128 for a family season pass or $3.00 per person for the day, non-resident family passes are $218.00 or $4.00 per day and children under 1 are free.

Goodman Pool, Madison
This awesome pool has plenty to make the kids smile on a hot summer day. From the two towering water slides to the ice cream to the zero-depth pool! There are plenty of options for tots as well including shallow water play areas and a spot for sand play. Season passes are available for families at $175 for Madison residents and $310 for non-residents, or just go for the day. Admission is only $4.50 for adults and$3.00 for kids; non-residents of Madison pay 50 cents more.

Sun Prairie Family Aquatic Center, Sun Prairie
The sprawling aquatic center has endless offering for summer fun. Rain-makers, aqua fountains, multiple water slides, diving boards, water basketball, sand volleyball, 2 kiddy slides, a concession stand and more! Open swim is $3.75 per person with season passes available to both residents and non-residents of Sun Prairie.

And we’re really excited that Fitchburg is developing a Splash Pad as well! They hope to begin construction on the Fitchburg Splash Pad at McKee Farms Park in 2013.

Kids on Madison's East and Southwest sides will be squealing with delight this summer, thanks to two new splash parks opening in Reindahl Park and Elver Park.
