This is my favourite of awol_sowi's icons by far.
I made it because... well, mostly because art and useable caps are so few and far between that I just barely managed 15 icons fro his account. Like, a paid account would be so wasted on him, ohman. Seriously, good Tekken icons just don't exist. I really think it says something about a fandom when the one useable piece of non-official art you can find is porn :/
I don't tend to use icons from my rp accounts for my ooc, but that one is just so pretty *o*

I don't even remember what happened in this episode of Buzzcocks or who was on or what. I just remember Bill having a staring contest with someone in the lineup and someone (I assumed it was Mark, but now I'm not sure, it might be from after Simon took over) saying the icon quote.
I was originally going for something more... human looking, but I was messing with the colour balance and got this. And I like it 'cause it's creepy |D

I just saw this picture on MUCC's blog and it was the most adorable thing, so it demanded an icon.

Funny, I made this for Raiden's account at the Disco, but never actually used it, 'cause I went for the one with the Gekkos in the background instead.
I just, even in the scene I think it's a really beautiful image- and with textures and all that, I kind of wanted to keep the colour scheme and feel that the game had going. Who says you can't make good icons from yartarb screencaps?

I was going to app Rude there, but then I read their Reno's app and it was like, 'being a Turk, he's had mako enhancements' or something, and I was like "jhgfhj NO HE DIDN'T. THE TURKS DIDN'T HAVE MAKO TREATMENTS."
lightningreborn; Raiden. Because I suck and I can't ever remember quotes. It was what I remembered of his 'I am lightning' bit and/or Snake's 'light in the darkness' speech. which totally made me baww.
... Speaking of Snake. ATHENA. WE MUST DO THINGS.

awol_sowi; Hwoarang. sowi is the ROK army equivalent of a private. And AWOL is, well.. he went AWOL for a while. In reality, Byeongjang would've been a better choice, since he was actually a Sergeant, not a Private, but whatever.

patronizing_git; Seifer-- though I haven't apped him yet. I think, uhh... it's pretty self-explanatory, really. I still think supercilious was a better name B|
bionic_cheese; Vince Noir. Another one I haven't apped, but... This is from the Electroboy song in series one. Though I'm tempted to register 'midnight_barber' instead, but I think it might lean a bit close to Sweeney Todd territory.

jackisnomore; Raiden, previously of absolute_hold (it was a great game, I might reapp with a different character altogether). It's one of the first thing Raiden says to Snake in MGS4 and I think it's a key part of his personality in that game too :/
makinmesober; Reno, previously of ms_elegante. "Just lookin' at you is makin' me sober." Funnily, I think the Wutai sidequest is one of the best parts for the limited bit of Reno's character you get to see in the game.
i_am_lightning; Raiden. I can't even remember what the fuck I registered this for.
rejectedgenes; Raiden. I do believe this was the journal I was going to use for bio_shocked. I don't even know where my mind went with this one. I think it was just a general mind-smush of all the themes in MGS2.
liberianripper; Raiden. I don't know why I wanted this name so bad orz. From, obviously, gaining the nickname 'Jack the Ripper' during the Liberian civil war (though, that's really a horrible name to give to a kid.) Looking at it now, I kind of want to play child!Raiden with a Solidus somewhere.
moseys_in_boxes; Cloud Snake. Cloud moseys up a can of whoopass, Snake sneaks in boxes. Cloud Snake moseys in boxes. Simple, huh?
I don't think Michael Pitt quite knows what 'phene' actually means.
