School is back in session for the year. The kids, adelinfdm and I are all happy with this.

So, over the last few weeks, the area I want to move to (upstate SC, specifically near my mother-in-law... in fact two of the killings occurred at the store across the street from where she works) had a Serial Killer... 5 killings total. Luckily he's been stopped... by a cop's bullet in NC.

Yesterday was Fathers' Day. I texted my dad a happy fathers' day wish... would have talked to him if he'd called but he didn't (with what I suspect is going on with him I guess I don't blame him... he also may not have noticed the text as he doesn't use technology very well).

adelinfdm authorized my purchasing a copy of the Astrogator's Handbook today. Its part of my Father's Day celebration. I had a smaller copy of this (a 50 light year cube) but having the 150 light year cube just rocks IMO. Especially with me working on a sci-fi/space adventure game. :)

In 72 hours my children come home from the last day of school.

This will be an interesting summer as (a) I work from home 100% of the time now and (b) we cannot afford summer camp for the kids. adelinfdm has plans for the summer, we'll see how the experiment works. :) Luckily I have really good kids.

Today we drive around town testing WiFi connections. Specifically at the Thonotosassa and Seffner-Mango libraries and at University Mall in Tampa proper.
