Today is the (unofficial) Chemistry holiday "
Mole Day". It started at 6:02am and ends at 6:02pm. As you may or may not recall, a Mole is the amount of sustance that contains as many particles of that sustance (atoms or molecules mind you) as 12g of carbon-12. That number of molecules is defined as the Avogadro constant, which is approximately 6.02 times 10 to the 23... thus you see why the holiday is today at those times.
