[Batman doesn't seem to notice he's back on the second level, but he's got himself draped across a park bench with his head in his hands. He has had a rather hard day, today, and a busy one at that. He's a little exhausted. Don't mind him, he'll wander back home eventually -- or, do, if you'd like to poke a bat.]

hunting down criminals, !ic, [original] joker, [template] nicolai conrad, !batman, it's tough being a good guy, being overprotective of the entire city, saving the world 24/7, [template] mary arkham, the bat is back in town, yes this is what bruce does on saturdays

[Comes back with some warm tea and a first-aid kit, just in case]

[stares] ...Does it look like I need a first aid kit? I'm not bleeding, just stunned.

[Just sighs, sill holding the tea out] Just in case, then. Here, might help you relax a bit, you're tensed worse than Terry after KoF.

[the tea reminds him of Alfred, so he'll take it, but it's just getting set beside him on the bench. He won't drink it, he never does, but it calms him anyway]

What's KoF?

The King of Fighters. Fighting tournaments that were held back home.

[He knows what's coming next, so he just waves a hand] They're legal, although half the guys sponsoring it were dicks.

And, do they allow flash grenades in the tournaments? [he's a little bitter, forgive him]

Not flash grenades, but some had techniques that were basicaly like them, yeah. [Rock's used to it, remember who he's had to deal with. :Db]

Don't even get me started about the people that actually use weapons.

These tournaments sound more dangerous the more you explain. Are you sure they're legal?

Surprisingly, they are. They find the legal loopholes. [Don't ask how he knows, gdit Kain]

Besides, a good amount of the people that join them are there to stop the idiots responsible in one way or another.

Hypocritical, but probably more effective than any method the judicial system would take. [nods, approving!]

Pretty much. [Shrugs.]
