Hi there.
I read my last post and it was all about the surfing lesson that Alex and I took forever ago. This one time after that, we almost had to be saved by the lifeguards because of the strongest rip current I have ever been stuck in. Luckily we swam sideways and we were fine, but it really all happened so fast.
So, Alex and I have settled into our apartment. It's home. Bean bag couches and all. Right now he is at work and I am here left to my own devices.
Tara's wedding was seriously amazing and I had a great time. I got to wear a pink dress thanks to my friend Kristi from work.
Life has been kind of weird lately. I signed up for a ballet class at this place called Interlocken Dance. I love it. It's exactly what I was looking for. A tough old ballet lady and me in my pink tights. My recital is June 1st and I got to see my costume at class last night. =) So I can practice at home, Alex built me a barre and painted it pink. Heh, plus he gets to watch me practice at home. It was one of my christmas presents.
Work has been good. I've become the internet girl so I have been learning a lot about mass emailing and arranging newsletters and ads. It's fun to teach yourself something and see it happen. I was so proud of myself!
Life outside of work has been what has been off though. We are watching a couple that we hang out with slowly seem to start to break up. It's not really the most positive outings I've ever had. I really want to balance out our social life a bit.
