That's beautiful and hot and I don't even ship them. Just gorgeous. And that last line. Killer. But you know what the saddest part was? Fic where the Impala dies is just as bad as when it's one of the boys.

Loved that. Thats how I feel their relationship would go if they had been allowed to go there. Stupid CW. Why is this show not on HBO?! Or even the BBC. We'd let them do things like that!

Heh. I might very well go that way, although I'm not 100% sure. I think fandom!Dean is a lot more attached to Cas than Show!Dean, who treats Cas kind of like a convenient piece of (magical) furniture.

I think you're right in that fandom does tend to put a rose tinted slant on their relationship, but I also think that Show!Dean is more attached than he lets on. I would give you examples but I am completely brain-fried right now and I can't think straight. *fangirl!fail*
