On the coda/tag thing, I'm not really sure, but I've always guessed that an episode tag is kind of like a fill-in of something "missing" (an alternate POV on a scene, for example, that sort of thing) and a coda is a follow up/extension of the story not in the episode itself- a second ending.

Codas, I THINK, generally pick up directly where the episode left off, while tags might not pick up quite so soon. I use them interchangeably, though. So... no help here, really. ;P

I would say that coda implies ending/conclusion.
Something that finishes the episode off. so more like an extended end for the episode.
Tag on the other hand I would see as a more general term for any kind of addition to the episode, including codas and missing scenes.
But that's just how I would interpret it. No idea if I'm right.
