That was AWESOME! I mean, you took the dude's damned eye and it was icky (who would ever even think of that, really?), but I loved how Sam's trying to get through and figure it all out and, then, just kicks the shit out of some douche. *sigh* I love my boys and you make me love them more. ♥ ♥

The douchebag totally had it coming. It seemed like a reasonably good way to have Sam come to terms with the whole deal.

I just loved it because you know that Sam's so smooth and graceful that he can totally learn to compensate and retrain his brain, but watching him figure it out was just, well, rewarding. I especially like that Sam gives the afore mentioned Douche a couple of chances to back off becuase he kicks his butt.

And Dean. I just wanted to smoosh on him for being himself. Blackbeard. LOL

It's Season 1 Sam. All emo and "No, Dean, we can't kill them because they're huuuuumaaaaaan!" He'd totally try to get the guy to back off first. ;)

And yes, Dean. Dean is Dean. Always.

Awww, this was just awesome. I love Dean being all protective, and Sam knowing full well that even handicapped he can beat the average man in four seconds flat. I was skiddish about reading this one, the prompt made me squick, but you managed to throw in enough heartwarming that it felt like everything was alright at the end.

I really, really like this. They're so in character. Sam not wanting to go out, but letting Dean drag him. Then finally losing his temper and showing just how dangerous he can be. And Dean trying to make it, if not all better, as better as it can get, just hits all my "oh, they're such awesome brothers" buttons.

I'm so glad you liked it!

I figured Sam would go all mopey and Dean would go into smite-anyone-that-looks-at-Sam-wrong mode, so I'm pleased you thought I kept them in character. :)

Poor boys. They really are awesome brothers. *pets them*
