Jesus woman, kill me why don't you. I've been watching that comment thread waiting for you to write it, and now I'm dead. Good GOD.

*shivers* Beautiful though. Well done.

"That's where the word 'excruciating' comes from, did you know that?” I didn't, but I do now. Good God, but that was torture. For Sam and Dean and me. Fantastically written, of course, but still. When I saw the prompt and that you were going to write it I just couldn't wait in a totally "Oh, hell she's going to rock it but it's going to hurt" kind of way and you didn't disappoint. Awesome.

Heh. Well, I'm glad you liked it even if it hurt. :)

hang in there...!?!

God, I love that you went there!

I don't usually have a strong stomach for torture fic, but this worked completely! Because it wasn't random; it had a point that was relevant to the mytharc. And because it was the perfect balance of h to c in h/c (for me anyway) - a very tricky tightrope indeed.

[applauds you!]

"Hang in there" is the kind of meaningless platitude that rescuers tell people in distress all the time. I figured it would come naturally until he realized what he was saying. :)

The balance of h/c is always tricky. I'm never sure if it's too much or too little, and I'm always worried it'll turn too sappy for Supernatural.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it!

I am a bad person. I have come to realize this. Apparently I enjoy kicking the puppy while he's down.

errh, I completely agree with Neurotic Author's Disclaimer #2, it is really really mean to Sam.

I love how Sam keeps on saying no, though; and he tries to comfort Dean.

The prompt kind of guaranteed that I was going to be mean to Sam, alas.

I sometimes think Dean needs the comfort more than Sam (not that Sam doesn't need it too, of course!). They keep each other going, poor boys. *pets them*
