This one has been hyped beyond words. I'm hoping it lives up. I have managed to stay pretty much entirely unspoiled for this NO THANKS TO YOU, INTERNET! so I'm interested to see where this goes.

Your flailing seems to match a lot of what I went through when I watched the episode. I loved it.

Dean stabbed Sam in the face?! What?

When they got back to Bobby's all I could think about was how Bobby wold be so mad when he got back to see a huge whole in the wall...

But now that you mention it Dean's reaction to Sam's words at the end has me worried. I noticed he didn't say anything, but I don't think I was paying enough attention. When I re-watch I will look at his face closely. I don't want Dean making any stupid decisions/sacrifices...

I thought at first the 'Jensen' and 'Jared' not talking and apparently hating each other/not being friends was a joke giving the fans the opposite of how they see the J2 relationship-their belief/hope in their epic friendship/love. But then I saw someone else post what the title The French Mistake comes from. It apparently means something like a moment of homoerotic-ness that is later regretted. So I guess this was actually a joke where the boys did something together and then were all awkward...

I think "stabbed Sam in the face" refers to when they were goofing off with the rubber prop weapons.
