LOL! I think the first thing Dean would have to do is train the dog to help him look after Sam :)

That's pretty much what he did! I'm writing these a bit out of order, so in my last story I had him telling the dog to "find Sam." :)

I don't think I saw that one... I had been thinking it was Sam who was getting a dog, so I was surprised to find out that Dean went to a center to see about getting one for himself :)

Well, it would sort of make sense, except that Sam doesn't so much need a dog as he needs maybe a leash and one of those microchips. ;)

Weirdly enough, the 'verse started out as a one-shot that was meant to be entirely about Dean. I have no idea, but it took on a life of its own.

Anyway, if you check out the last story, Dean now has a helper dog named Perry. :)

FUSION 'VERSE!!!!

\o/

Love this, as always. I'm always surprised by how much I like your OC's, but it's really great getting to see Sam and Dean from another perspective sometimes. :)

This was a great surprise to get just before bed, thank you!! :D

*g*

I have a ridiculously soft spot for my OCs. They provide a great outsider POV to show the boys in a slightly different light than the one in which they see themselves (and each other), and allow me to flex my creative muscles in a slightly different direction, too. :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Yay! I love this 'verse. This was sweet - now I'm curious as to how Sam faired when Dean eventually went for the training. I could really picture Sam's smile when Dean woke him up at the end :)

I also love the thought of Die Hard being a lullaby. :P

:)

I don't know why I was thinking of 'Die Hard' but I definitely know Dean and Sam are fans, and it seemed really appropriate as a lullaby for the Winchesters, somehow. Kind of like comfort food, you know? ;)

I'll probably be writing something about the training, both from Dean's perspective and also about Sam.

I look forward to anything you may write in the future no matter how long I have to wait for it :)

I was raised on The Princess Bride, so yeah, I definitely understand the concept of movies as 'comfort food.' It was a great touch. ;)

What a great treat to come on and find more fusion in my inbox!
One of many things I love about this verse are the well fleshed out OC's. I love the Doc almost as much as Sophie and the old couple that brought Sam in out of the weather in the middle of the night. Awesome. Very nice indeed. Keep up the great work!

I kind of love my OCs. I don't know if it's weird of me to say that, but I do. I'm having fun populating my little unnamed town in the middle of an unnamed state. *shrug*

:)

Glad you're enjoying it!

Awwwwwwwww poor poor Sammy :( The part with him lying on Dean's bed just about broke my heart.

I loved this so much, as always. This 'verse is definitely one of the best things written out there ♥

It was kind of sad to write, too. Poor Sammy, wrapping himself up in his brother like a security blanket. :(

I'm so pleased you're still enjoying the 'verse. :)
